Seamless SOC Container Import & Transfer
How We Moved It
Step 1.
Customs Clearance
Our client purchased a shipper owned container (SOC) in China, and the freight forwarder arranged ocean transportation to South Carolina, where the shipment arrived at Wando Welch Terminal in Mount Pleasant. Before the vessel arrived, we collected and reviewed all required import documents, completed U.S. Customs clearance, and secured CBP release before the container became available for pickup, ensuring a seamless import process.
Step 2.
Drayage Coordination
After the container was released by CBP and made available by the terminal, we arranged drayage from Wando Welch Terminal to a wrecker yard in South Carolina. Our drayage carrier picked up the client owned container and transported it safely to the transfer location.
Step 3.
Container Transfer
At the wrecker yard, we coordinated a crane service to transfer the client-owned container from the drayage chassis onto the client’s stepdeck trailer. Once the transfer was complete, the client transported the container to its final destination in Tennessee.
